Hi,
I had a client email me recently about adding a chat widget to their website. I was wondering how this would work with APWT.
I do see this thread from several years ago:
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3833&hilit=chat+widget
But I know things may have changed since then.
Does APWT offer a native Chat box widget? Here is her message to me:
Is there another software that has a lower monthly fee that I could add to my website that would make it easier to direct clients to where they can leave a review on multiple site options? Right now a few times a year I email clients and put all the different links in an email. Would be nice to just send them one link where they could choose leave a review on Facebook, Linkedin, Google, QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Yelp, etc.
So what she is asking for is a bit more than just a typical chatbox, but a way for her clients to leave reviews right through her website.
Let me know if you need any more info from me about this.
Thanks!

Re: Chat Widget
Can you please clarify? It seems what you and your client are referring to are two separate things.

Re: Chat Widget
Hi Tommy,
Sorry for the confusion.
I simply tried to explain in my own words what the client was asking for. If its easiest to just follow what the client is asking for, then ignore my explanation. I am not asking for two different things.

Re: Chat Widget
From what you customer is asking it seems like what she needs can be accomplished by creating a link on her website that redirects her customers to a landing page with links to everywhere she would like them to write a review. Similar to the email she sends but instead its a landing page.

Re: Chat Widget
Hi,
That option you give ignores the initial question about the chat widget.
But from what it sounds like, APWT does not have the ability to support a chat widget that can accomplish what she is asking for.
