Ad Campaigns

Post by Steve173 »

Hi!

Our AllProWebTools marketing expert set up our Ad Campaign for tracking our google Shopping Ads. Just was having a further look in our AllProWebTools console in marketing>Ad Campaigns>Google Merchant Center and noticed that it appears to only be tracking sales data from our Noni Fruit Leather url and not also the IcyHeat Noni Loiton 4oz and Noni Lavender Lotion 4oz urls.

When I "view ad" in AllProWebTools Ad campaigns to look at the specifics for the campaign it is only listing the sales data as coming from the url http://www.real-noni.com/Noni-Fruit-Lea ... 1010020001 and not also http://www.real-noni.com/4-oz-IcyHeat-L ... ni-Lotion/ and http://www.real-noni.com/Lavender-Noni- ... anic-Noni/

Does this mean only sales from the product Shopping Ad http://www.real-noni.com/Noni-Fruit-Lea ... 1010020001 have been being tracked? Should/Do separate campaigns for http://www.real-noni.com/4-oz-IcyHeat-L ... ni-Lotion/ and http://www.real-noni.com/Lavender-Noni- ... anic-Noni/ need to be created? Just trying to understand if this was set-up inaccurately or if in fact the campaign is tracking data from all three urls and where to find those stats? Thank you!

Yes, you are correct. Only the one product was being tracked and you can setup any other items that you would like to track and the system will generate reference code URLs for you to use in your ads.

Yikes! That means for the past 5 years all our Google Shopping and Ads data that our marketing expert has been reporting has been incorrect! Good to know that we've been actually netting more than we thought since two entire products have not been being tracked all along.

Follow up question....for the product that has been tracked in Ad Campaigns the URL is actually an old url that gets redirected to our new url. In our AllProWebTools console in marketing>Ad Campaigns>Google Merchant Center can I simply click the edit option and just update the url and still use the same reference code URL or do I have to create an entirely new campaign?

Basically the old url is: http://www.real-noni.com/Noni-Fruit-Leather-1002/
The new url is: http://www.realnoni.com/Noni-Fruit-Leather-1002/

Can I just edit or do I have to start from scratch and recreate?

Great!

We have three product ads that run on google shopping. One one product url has been tracked under our "Google Merchant Center" Campaign in the console To generate reference code URLs for the other two product ads that are not being tracked in our AllProWebTools console do i use the same AD Campaign "Google Merchant Center" and click "new advertisement" under this ad campaign? Or do I have to create a whole separate "ad campaign" for each product?
