email address valid but showing red x

Aloha!
I just updated the email address on buyer 27822 and the red x is showing immediately next to it....the email address is valid as I've been corresponding with him via it....I tried to reverify by click the green check but it still shows the red x....he wants to make sure he receives our emails so how do I fix this?

One more buyer 7450, I fixed his email address but it is still showing a red x.

goodness...just had another where he called for an order and his email was incorrect....fixed it and it's still showing red x. Buyer 35906

Thanks for reporting this. There was an issue where the red x was not being cleared whenever you would fix the email - this has now been fixed.

7450 and 35433 and 35906 have been reactivated.

We did not see a "red x" on CRM record 35400.

another one buyer #4287 has a red x that is not being cleared....

You can clear the red x by changing the email address (like adding a number to the end of it) and then saving it and then changing the email back by removing the number that you placed at the end.

I have done this to record 4287 and the x is now cleared.

If you come back later and the x is there again, it means that the email address was reported invalid AGAIN by the server that manages that person email account.
