Scheduled text messages repeatedly sent out

On 10/2/2019 at 9:50pm EST an issue was brought to our attention concerning scheduled text messages being repeatedly sent out from specific AllProWebTools accounts.

Investigation into this matter by our programming team found that this issue was only affecting scheduled text messages to over 500 contacts. It was determined that the cause of this issue was the response code from phone.com that indicated a successful send of the text message was being read as indicating that the text message was not sent. Under this condition, AllProWebTools would attempt to resend the text message until it received the response code from phone.com.

Our programming team is currently researching ways to resolve this issue. We expect to have a resolution later today. We will post additional updates in this forum.

We apologize for the inconvenience to you and your clients and are currently working to remedy the situation.

We have just completed a call with Phone.com engineers. They are looking into the issue and we are awaiting their response.

After working with Phone.com, we have implemented a solution to this issue. We have simulated running over 500 text messages in a scheduled text message and the process completed successfully with only one message sent to each phone number.

We ask that any AllProWebTools user who is planning to send over 500 text messages in the month of October 2019, send a text message to us at 970-612-1515 with the time and date of the send so that our engineers can monitor the system and ensure that your scheduled text message campaign is delivered successfully.
