Customers using Paypal asked to pay entire invoice amount, not remaining amount due
Customers using Paypal asked to pay entire invoice amount, not remaining amount due. This causes us to not be able to use the AP invoicing, instead we have to go directly to Paypal and invoice, or create an entire new order with the price adjusted to reflect what the customer owes.

Discount on line items does not work in preorder conversions
The discount is added to the final invoice amount, rather than being subtracted from the item cost. This would a workaround to pre-order conversion not working correctly and would be used to reflect a deposit that a customer made. As it stands though it is unusable.
On any new orders the discount appears to work correctly.

Thanks! That will greatly speed up invoicing when it is resolved.

Re: Customers using Paypal asked to pay entire invoice amount, not remaining amount due
I actually just tested this on my end and with paying by CC the customer is asked to pay the full invoice rather than remaining amount. Should I start another thread with that or just stick with this one?

Re: Discount on line items does not work in preorder conversions
I miss typed in that one. Pre-order conversion does seem to work correctly, the remaining amount due is computed correctly. The issue with using the pre-order conversion is when the customer goes to pay the invoice they are asked to pay the whole amount. So that is why we attempted to use "discount" - basically we would delete out all line items, then re-enter the item, and enter the deposit paid in the discount field. But the math is bad so we can't do that.

Re: Customers using Paypal asked to pay entire invoice amount, not remaining amount due
Most of the time we have been doing our own math to get the invoice numbers correct so it is hard to say. Does it work correctly when you test?

Hi Andy,
Have you processed any with Paypal showing the correct amount remaining? That was the situation I was addressing. - Support Team

Re: Customers using Paypal asked to pay entire invoice amount, not remaining amount due
Hey Christine,
We just tested this out using Bradley's customer account and order 18648. The front end did show that 11.45 was remaining due.
When we tried to pay with paypal it DID seem to work correctly. We didn't actually go so far as to process the payment, but paypal looked like it was going charge $11.45
We then ran the payment with his credit card, and the processed amount was incorrect. It ran the entire 51.45 as you can see looking at that order.
So Paypal works, CC does not, which means we can't use invoicing as is, since we don't know which method the customer is going to use.

And just as a side note, nothing indicated to Bradley that he was going to be charged the full amount, even after the charge processed. I found after looking at Cayan and looking at the order in APWT admin.
