Delete old contacts inside of tag

I uploaded new contacts in to an old tag with old contacts the issue is If I delete the tag its telling me that I would lose all those new contacts and I won't be able to reupload them I don't want to lose them, but I do want to delete the old contacts and be able to create a drip campaign with the new contacts. Can someone help with this?

You can always upload the same list of contacts into a different tag.
First, create a new tag for your new list.
Then you can check the 'Tag Existing Records' check box at the 'Step 4' on the Import Contacts page

Please do not forget to select the tag you've just created on 'Step 1' when uploading that list of contacts into AllProWebTools
