Setting up Endicia Intergration

Post by Debbie34 »

Not sure what else to do, I changed my password with Indicia and entered it in the passphrase location in my dazzle software.
Yet I still get this error message when trying to buy postage.

The Certified Intermediary’s passphrase is incorrect. Error encountered (Log ID: 31927)

Hoping to hear how to fix this problem.

Please contact Endicia for more information about your passphrase. Once you get the newly corrected passphrase, you can go to:

'Store' > 'Shipping Manager'

Then click on where it says 'Endicia'

Click the 'Change Passphrase' tab and you can put in your new passphrase here.

I have done all that you described...

I still get this after putting in the new passphrase.
The Certified Intermediary’s passphrase is incorrect. Error encountered (Log ID: 35468)

I had Indicia remoted in with me and they tried what they knew and we are still stuck.

Something I noticed on the integration page for Endicia, there is this hyperlink.
Don't have an Endicia Account? Set-up here

That goes to a page that shows this:
404 PAGE ERROR
Sorry, this page isn’t available.
The URL you requested wasn’t found on the Endicia website.

Wondering if the integration link is not functioning like this link??
I really would like to resolve my issue with Endicia and get the shipping options working on my site.

The error message you are seeing is coming from Endicia. This is the error they are giving to us: "The Certified Intermediary’s passphrase is incorrect. Error encountered (Log ID: 31927)"

Endicia is the only company that can explain what that error means. Please ask them to look up Log ID 31927 and find the cause of the issue for you.

AllProWebTools does not have the customer's previous passphrase.

Endicia will need to provide customer support to assist the customer in resetting their passphrase and entering the "old passphrase" and creating a new passphrase in AllProWebTools.

AllProWebTools does not have your previous passphrase.

Please contact Endicia who can provide you with assistance with what to enter into the "old passphrase" so that you can create a new passphrase in AllProWebTools.

Tommie, did you see that the chat gave me an old one and they asked for my new one????

I have been on my site with Endicia remote in and they could not get it to work…

Since I changed my password twice , I do not know if what is in the old passphrase box is …

However, whatever we tried, Endicia and I, nothing was connecting to them…
They are stumped too.

They wondered if I go in and change my password AGAIN…will using that new one…in the old passphrase place on my site…then change the passphrase should work?.

They tried that with no success.

This is getting very frustrating. I do not want to use my support time for this unless I have no choice. I have other things I am going to need help with.

Thank you for that information about the password manager…I had no clue that was there…

So I was able to change the passphrase…however, I tried to buy postage and it didn’t work.
My site is still telling me there are no shipping options…

Yesterday we posted a screenshot to show you that everything was now working.

Why did you change the configuration? What did you want to accomplish?

Re: Setting up Endicia Intergration

The FIRST thing I followed was Tommie's instructions to use the password manager.
When I opened the password manager it had a very old password, I put in the password I was using to open Endicia.
There was no URL on the password manager page so I put that in as well.

Then I went to the Integration page and made sure that the old passphrase was the same as in the password manager
Then I created a new passphrase there on the integration page.
I also clicked on purchase postage for $10 and made a purchase
I did not test my site at that time.

Then I went to Endicia and used the passphrase I just used as the "new passphrase" on the integration page.
To see if I could log into Endicia with it. It worked.

I called Endicia to ask if they saw I tried to purchase postage from the Integrations page they said no.
The Endicia site did not show a postage increase.
Endicia instructed me on how to make a purchase from their site.
I then went to Dazzle and changed the passphrase there. Still no increase in postage.

Then I got the message that Brad showed above. So I tried to make a purchase on my site and got the "no shipping options" message.,

That is what I did following the password manager video that Tommie showed above.

Are you inferring that what I did is the problem of not having shipping options???
Just NOW I looked at the password manager AND the password that is there is the one I had before changing it on the integrations page as the Old passphrase.
IT is NOT what I use to log in to Endicia currently.

This whole old and new passphrase business is getting confusing.

So, going forward...WHAT password do you want me to put in the password manager?
I JUST want to have my site functioning properly.

Chopper,
I did update my password to the correct one in the password manager.

Then I tried to make a purchase and STILL get the message "There are no available shipping options. Please call us at 9706915707 for assistance with your order."

What now? Can you try a purchase?

Your account is now working as you can see from the screenshot below. Please do not change your password/passphrase anymore. Do not make any changes to your Endicia account.

Your account is now working.
