A way to clean up the contacts

Hi, One of my clients has an extensive number of contacts in her CRM. The lists are cleaned up, but there's they want to now clean up the contacts themselves. Is there a way to delete contact with one tag - but only delete their record if they are not tagged with any other tag.

Another request they have is can they merge multiple tags into a single tag for easier email marketing?

Thank you for your help with this!

If you go to Settings->Administrator there will be a panel titled "Account Deletion" visible only to owners and logged in Experts/Providers. Here you can delete contacts by a single tag. Keep in mind, it will delete all contacts with that tag, regardless of other tags attached to the contact.

And yes, you can merge tags by heading to Contacts->Manage Tags and there will be a panel titled "Merge Tags" you can use to do exactly that!

Hello,

So, as of June 2020 it seems as if this feature has been removed, and replaced with the 'Copy Tags' feature.

Can we please have the 'Merge Tags' option return? We have some clients that are looking for this feature and are missing it now that it is gone. Please add this back.

I mean you can have both options there - copy and merge. So then people who were used to the marge tags can still use it and people who want to copy can do that too.

Thank you.

The new method for "merging" a tag is to copy "tag A" into "tag B" (this results in tag B containing everything that was in tag A and tag B) - then you can simply delete tag A if you wish.

We have found that offering this functionality is more intuitive for the majority of our users.
